Stormwater

A surface water management report was prepared by Water Technology Pty Ltd.

The following stormwater management objectives – which have been assessed as achievable for the site – have been adopted:

• No surface water flows from the site into the Spencer Gulf during a 1% Annual Exceedance Probability (AEP) storm event (equivalent to a 1 in 100-year storm)
• Minimum floor levels for new structures will be 0.3 metres above peak flood levels for a 1% AEP storm event
• Accessibility to access routes for evacuation of the site during 1% AEP storm event, and site operations maintained during a 5% AEP (1 in 20 years) event
• Site will be protected from external flood flows from a 1% AEP storm event

A stormwater management plan will be developed for the site to design and specify the works required to meet the site operational stormwater management objectives.
